I-5 Self Storage was founded by Randy Scott Wong and his partners. It was his vision to create a modern, hi-tech storage facility, that was clean, safe and secure – at an affordable price with excellent service.
Randy knew from industry experience and conversations with friends the storage challenges faced by motorsports and RV enthusiasts, as well as general self storage users.
Randy was National Managing Director for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, and even test rode BMW’s fastest production sport motorcycle (K1200S) on the world famous Nurburgring Racetrack in Germany in 2004.
His previous background as a State Criminal Prosecutor and relationships with law enforcement have provided unique features for access, surveillance and crime prevention, which enhance the goal of security.
As a local resident, Randy realized that a modern approach to storage would be a great benefit to the community. And now, after years of research and development, his team has successfully created one of the largest, most sophisticated, “Class A” facilities on the west coast, with an unsurpassed location.
